Hayden and Friends Raise More Than $4,500!

Hayden — What An Inspiration!

On the sunny morning of Saturday, 30 June in Maroubra NSW, fifteen-year-old Hayden Blackmore shaved his head to raise money for the John Logan Foundation. This is the third time Hayden has done this since 2014. He and his younger sister, Aimee, lost their mum that year to aggressive pancreatic cancer. The JLF is important to Hayden and Aimee as our ‘Gift of Hope’ gave them “more time with their mum that they wouldn’t have had otherwise.”

Hayden shaves his head to raise awareness, remember his beautiful mum and give back to the Foundation that helped his family at a really difficult time of need. Each time they hold this event, there are a team of helpers — some Jennifer’s friends as well as family — encouraging the community to get involved, buy cakes at the bake stall and donate to Hayden’s Everyday Hero page.

We are thrilled to announce that Hayden and his supporters have raised more than $4,500 for this most recent event. This is such an incredible effort and we are so very thankful. These funds will go towards someone’s cancer treatment that they may not otherwise be able to afford. Since Hayden began his head shave quest, he and his supporters have raised in the vicinity of $10,000. A massive thank you to you all.
